The Northern England Clinical Networks has identified a number of common themes across all diseases and conditions and these are explored further within this section of the website.
While it is made up of clearly defined individual networks focusing on specific conditions and diseases, there are some important areas of its work that have common, cross-cutting themes.
Rather than identifying each of these common themes by network; the team takes a strategic overview and considers / manages each one across all networks.
For example: prevention, awareness and diagnosis; end of life and long term conditions and rehabilitation are key functions and are potentially relevant to all the networks.
While each network may have its own particular areas of work relating to the common themes, the Northern England Clinical Networks produces pieces of work including workshops and events to co-ordinate good practice, share ideas and find improvements over all areas of work.
